DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Morphosis, after being a one man company for years, is now looking for its first employee. We are looking for a talented and passionate UI/UX designer with strong interests and capabilities in the design and development of stunning, user-centric web and mobile interfaces (Desktop, iOS, Android…). The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for teamwork and open communication. This person will be responsible for delivering first-class user experience and aesthetic solutions across various applications.

Create UI designs through consideration of business requirements & technical limitations
Translate high-level feature concepts into use cases and customer experience requirements
Produce wireframes, high-fidelity mockups and production art assets
Work on several different projects at once and meet demanding deadlines

REQUIREMENTS

3+ years of experience in UI/UX Design
A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great user-centric design solutions
Experience researching, designing, and testing end-user interactions that resolve complex UX challenges
Experience with user centered design methodology
The ability to develop and/or use tools to create quick proof of concepts to demonstrate user interactions and processes
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS and preferably JavaScript.
Deep understanding of web and mobile standards
Excellent written, oral, and diagrammatic communication skills
Experience using design tools such as PhotoShop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Sketch, etc.
Proficiency in wireframing tools such as Balsamiq or Axure
Good knowledge of UI best practices, web interface design and stays current on design trends and technology evolution on the web
Knowledge of the IOS Human Interface Guideline and Android Material Design
Great attention to detail

GOOD TO HAVE (BUT NOT MANDATORY):

Experience creating wireframes, storyboards and prototypes
Understanding of server side languages such as PHP, Ruby On Rails... and databases.
