This workshop provides an understanding of Big Data and Cloud Computing Technology and Its ecosystems and how to apply in the enterprise. The workshop will describe Hadoop technology on Amazon Elastic Map Reduce. The workshop will provide a deep study on Java APIs for MapReduce programming with hand-on exercises on Amazon Elastic Map Reduce. In addition, the workshop will also introduction on how to use Hive, Pig and HBase on Amazon Web Services.
