SUFFIX BYTE as derives its name from the fundamental workable unit in the digital world, focus mainly on leveraging creative technologies and a user centered design methodology which transforming emotional and ideas into aesthetic functional digital solutions for clients including rich interactive applications such as web site, web application, mobile application, social network integrating application and online campaign.
SUFFIX is a Bangkok based creative design & development firm producing visual communication for online and offline media. Based on the vocabulary definition of 'suffix;' A morpheme added at the end of a word to form a derivative, our methodology purposes to establish a new characteristic to design by simplification and reconstruction of information.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for an enthusiastic junior back-end PHP web developer to join our rising team in Bangkok.
The applicant is a fast learner who loves logic, algorithm and challenges. They love to explore new posibility and play with technologies.
WHAT DO WE WANT FROM YOU?
- Translate requirements, mockups and designs into fully functioning back-end system using PHP MVC Framework
- Integrating with APIs e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Google
DO YOU HAVE SKILLS?
Our ideal candidate has experience with the following:
- Experience working with PHP in a web environment
- Basic knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery
- Basic knowledge of REST, JSON and AJAX behaviors
- Familiar with and follow industry best-practices (e.g. source control, self-documenting code, error-free quality control)
- Version control (Git, SVN) is a plus
- LAMP stack familiarity
- Strong understanding of MySQL
- Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
- Experience with PHP MVC frameworks
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of OO design
- Work in a fast-paced, agile development environment
- Eager to learn new things
- Self motivated
- Basic understanding of web performance optimization
- Able to work well under pressure and deadlines
- A team player but able to take an assignment and run with it
- Able to set personal deadlines and meet them
- Have a Can-Do attitude
- Experience 0 – 2 Years
