SUFFIX BYTE as derives its name from the fundamental workable unit in the digital world, focus mainly on leveraging creative technologies and a user centered design methodology which transforming emotional and ideas into aesthetic functional digital solutions for clients including rich interactive applications such as web site, web application, mobile application, social network integrating application and online campaign.
SUFFIX is a Bangkok based creative design & development firm producing visual communication for online and offline media. Based on the vocabulary definition of 'suffix;' A morpheme added at the end of a word to form a derivative, our methodology purposes to establish a new characteristic to design by simplification and reconstruction of information.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for an enthusiastic junior front-end web developer to join our rising team in Bangkok.
The applicant is a fast learner who loves aesthetics, user experience and challenges. They have the ability to pick up any language, platform or tool. They love to explore new posibility and play with technologies.
WHAT DO WE WANT FROM YOU?
- Translate requirements, mockups and designs into fully functioning responsive HTML page using JavaScript and HTML/CSS
- Integrate front-end web page with provided back-end functionality if required
DO YOU HAVE SKILLS?
Our ideal candidate has experience with the following:
- Basic knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery
- CSS Pre-processors (LESS) is a plus
- JavaScript library (jQuery)
- JavaScript Framework (AngularJS, Backbone) is a plus
- Basic knowledge of REST, JSON and AJAX behaviors
- Responsive front-end Framework (Bootstrap)
- Task runners (Grunt) is a plus
- Version control (Git, SVN) is a plus
- Photoshop, Firework
- Cross browser and device testing
- Basic LAMP stack familiarity
- Basic UX or the desire to learn it
- Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
- Eager to learn new things
- Self motivated
- Basic understanding of client-side performance optimization
- Able to work well under pressure and deadlines
- A team player but able to take an assignment and run with it
- Able to set personal deadlines and meet them
- Have a Can-Do attitude
- Experience 0 – 2 Years
