MAQE is a small and growing group of friends based in Bangkok.

SKILLS WE NEED

• Good English verbal, written and spoken strongly recommended
• Strong knowledge of PHP and frameworks especially Laravel, etc.
• Experience with Git, MySQL/PostgreSQL
• Proficiency of HTML5/CSS, JavaScript (JQuery, Ember, Node)

EXTRA SKILLS POINTS

• Linux command line skills
• Amazon AWS (EC2, Opsworks, Beanstalk) or other cloud hosting service skills
• Experience of designing / developing scalable websites
• Experience of TDD/unit tests
• Experience of SCRUM
• Team leadership, but a team player

ABOUT YOU

Whatever your age, gender, or ethnicity, we know you love what you do. And that's really what's most important. But in addition to that, we're also looking for the following:

• Male or Female (Thai nationals preferred)
• Bachelors Degree in any Computing field preferred, but not required. One of our most talented developers has a Psychology Degree!
• 3+ years experience (preferred)
• Resourcefulness and ability to take initiative
• Creative and willing to share ideas and opinions

The successful candidate will find him or herself working as part of a small team. The focus: delivering mission-critical and high-traffic webapps.
