Integration and Support Engineer

Job description:

Our Integration and Support team is now seeking an Integration and Support Engineer to assist with the planned growth of the business. Some of the main duties of this role will include:
• Installation of hardware, set up server environment and deploy applications at client sites.
• Prepare and verify installation packages
• Configure systems and performance tuning.
• Identifying issues and reporting back to the project management team.
• Ensure that systems are deployed successfully, in timely manner.
• Liaise with the development team on issues, and feedback on improvement
• Liaise with clients to conduct the installation.
• Conduct acceptance test.
• Ensure support on solutions 24/7 when needed.
• Report, track and ensure calls resolution.
To be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following:

• 1-2 years’ experience in Java development / deployment.
• Experience in system administration (Sun Solaris / Linux).
• Experience in database administration (Oracle / MySQL).
• Experience in Telecom software solutions is a plus.
• Experience in SS7 Network Integration is a plus.
• Good understanding of IP Network.
• Initiative, responsive, supportive, and flexible.
• Both reliable and responsible.
• Able to work both within a team and autonomously.
• Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal.
