Qualification and experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or any related fields.
- Essential skills proven experience in developing and promoting testing methodology, test processes, strategies, and testing framework in a software development environment.
- Conversant with basic metric gathering and interpretation in a software development environment Broad understanding of the software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, implementation, testing and deployment.
- Strong mentoring skills, highly organized with high level of self motivation a team player with the ability to influence people and build consensus Good communicator at all levels, both verbal and written.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Customer focused.
- Understands and uses time management.
- Good command of reading, listening, written and spoken English.
- A technical background in software testing.
- Experience in Earned Value Management and its application to assist with the monitoring and control of projects. (Optional)
- Have knowledge and experience in automated scripting and test automation concepts.
