The APAC-wide contest offers students the chance to share their design skills with the world and win a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity tobe mentored for a week in Australia by a globally acclaimed design guru

Adobe has announced the launch of AdobeDesignspire contest for students across the Asia Pacific region. Open to all full- and part-time studentsaged 18 and older, entrants must create an original design on the theme “What Inspires You?” using Adobe Creative Cloud tools and submit them online on the contest website. Entries close November 22,2013.

Adobe Creative Cloud is available for purchase to students and teachers at THB 600 per month from the Adobe website. Alternately, students can also download a free 30-day trial version to complete their entry.

The Designspire contest is easy to enter!

• Submit your design on the contest website http://adobedesignspirecontest.com/. Ensure you read the ‘How to Participate’ section to know what your submission format, size and so on must be to be eligible.

• After the contest closes, our panel of judges will select the top 10 entries based on the following criteria:Creative and technical design, Originality and Creativity. Note that shortlisted entrants will have to submit their raw files to Adobe.

• These top 10 entries will be put up for public voting.
• Since this is a skills based contest, once the public voting is over, the judges will reconvene to make sure the top voted entries are valid winners. The winners will be announced on the December 23 2013.
What’s in it for students?
• Your design will be showcased on the AdobeDesignspirecontest website and shared on Adobe social media communities around the world.
• Your design will be judged by a jury comprising globally acclaimed leaders in the creative sector. Read more about the jury on the contest website.
• Your design will go through a round of public vote through the Adobe social media sites, givingyou a chance to showcase your talent to a wide audience.
• The lucky winner will enjoya once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take part in a month long mentoring program withStuart McLachlan - Paper Magician. Design Virtuoso. Illustrator. The winner will also be flown to Sydney,Australia to meet face-to-face with Stuart for a week.

• Second and third prize winners will take home a MacBook Air 13" 128 GB and aniPad Mini, WiFi, 32 GB respectively.
