Job Title: IT Specialist
Report To: IT Support Manager
Location: – Silom Complex Building

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the1st level support to user requests, problems or malfunctions of hardware, software, business application and other office systems to prioritize the user types with the respective case severity to ensure that the minimal interruption and business impacts.
• Take accountability as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) to follow up and escalate the incidentthen track the progress status until closure
• Provide theguidance via telephone, remote access, e-mail support with technical and system documentation
• Log and keep records of user queries for monitoring, analyzing of all problem issues
• Work closely with external suppliers and service co-providers
• Conduct the internal knowledge transfer to the users related to the new project roll-out
Education/Experience
Essential
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering and other related fields
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in IT Helpdesk
• Service mind and enthusiastic with working attitude and ability to relate with users from all levels
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English
• Possess good analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Able to work on own initiative or be directed when required
• Willing to work under pressure on non-working hours and holidays occasionally
Desirable
• Hand-on experience in the project management
• Strong background in effective both technical and administrative documentation
Technical/Professional Competencies
Essential
• Strongexperience in support of client operating system e.g. Windows 7, IE 9, Microsoft Office 2010 application and Microsoft SharePoint
• Proficient in IT infrastructure support, disaster recovery and centralized managed systems e.g. Active Directory, DHCP, Symantec Backup Exec and Anti-Virus
Desirable
• Use of Siebel and JD Edwards system
• Possess the experience for incident and request management tools e.g. BMC remedy ticketing system
