The Asia Cloud Computing Association (ACCA) is a member driven, Asia focused non-profit organization with a mission to accelerate adoption of cloud computing in the region. ACCA releases the Cloud Readiness Index (CRI) annually. This keynote will address finding of the Index and what are the development of the necessary infrastructure and enabling environment for cloud computing across leading Asian economies. In addition, this session will identify potential bottlenecks that could slow adoption and limit the ability of Asian economies to take advantage of the cloud computing future.

This session will be presented by two speakers; Dr.Thanachart Numnonda and Mr.Prinya Hom-anek. Dr.Thanachart Numnonda has strong experienced on Cloud Computing adoption ranging from IaaS, PaaS and SaaS; both private and public clouds. Mr.Prinya Hom-anek is a well known IT and Information Security expert in Thailand. This session will discuss on a trade-off between benefit from using cloud technologies and risk from data security/privacy breach.

Cloud Computing and Private Cloud in Action's Sessions
There will be several sessions in this conference on practical usage of the cloud computing. IaaS/PaaS Live Demo will walk through several public cloud infrastructures and demonstrates installation of a virtual server using a public IaaS cloud. In addition, this session demonstrates how to migrate your applications to public PaaS clouds; such as Windows Azure and Google App Engine.The Private Cloud in action session will discuss a step by step to setup a private cloud. Finally, the SaaS in action session describes public SaaS cloud for business.

Cloud Computing Workshops (Day 1):
Cloud Computing Assessment Workshop with an Interactive tool
This workshop will walk through the online vendor-neutral Cloud Assessment Tool (CAT) which provided by the Asia Cloud Computing Association (ACCA). The tool provides a standard framework that allows IT users to measure their requirements against vendor offerings. The vendor-neutral framework will help enterprises make informed decisions as they consider migrating their data and applications to the cloud. The framework consists of a matrix of parameters classified into different levels including: eight key operational criteria; parameters for the individual criterion; four performance levels; and eight matrices that map operational parameter values to the operational criteria. The workshop will be conducted by Mr. Jerry Wertelecky, Head of the Cloud Assessment Tool Working Group, (ACCA) and Dr. Thanachart Numnonda, IMC Institute.
