Software Engineer

The Software Engineer will be responsible for the modification of core applications and modules to conform to local needs, this includes modifications to the existing core development trunk as well as the implementation of new functionalities. Additional duties include installation and system deployment tasks at customers' sites both in Thailand and overseas. Successful applicants will play a central role in the future development of the company's software products.

Responsibilities:

Modifications of existing code to conform our software to local markets. Development of additional functionalities to address customers' customization needs. Deploy medium to large scale projects. Work both at the office and at customer sites.

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in I.T./Science/Computing or related fields.

New graduates welcome High experience with Linux platform. Experience in GNU C or Java. Experience with Open Source development. Experience with Windows platform. Knowledge of networking.

Advantage ครับ ไม่มีก็ได้นะ แต่มีก็ดี เอาไว้เรียกเงินเดือนเยอะๆ Knowledge of video/audio compression & encoding is an advantage. Knowledge of media asset management systems is an advantage. Good command of the English language.

ก็ขออธิบายเพิ่มเติมหน่อยนะครับ ตำแหน่งนี้ก็คือ programmer น่ะแหล่ะ แต่จะพิเศษหน่อยคือ จะเป็นคนที่ "มีโอกาสไปทำงานต่างประเทศ" (ก็ทำงาน + เที่ยวแหล่ะครับ) บ่อยมากๆ แต่ไม่ได้อยู่นานแบบเป็นปีนะครับ ตัวอย่างก็เช่นว่า ต้องไปแก้โค้ดเพื่อให้ Product เราสามารถทำงานได้แบบนี้แบบนั้น ตามที่ลูกค้าต้องการ ที่ Australia เป็นเวลา 2 เดือน เป็นต้น (นี่คือตัวอย่างจากสถานการณ์จริงนะครับ)
