Database Administrator
Qualifications
•Graduate BSc, BEng , MIS , or MIT
•
Work experience 2-3 years, with more than 1 year experience in Database Design and Administration
•
Hands on experience the following systems is preferred
•
Unix or IBM AIX
•
IBM DB2
Work Responsibilities
•Design, Implement, and Configure the DBMS (IBM DB2) to meet the project or business requirements.
•Create and Tune SQL commands, store procedures, ETL scripts (IBM DB2)
•Fluent in using DBMS tools for maintenance, backup, and restore (IBM DB2)
•Monitor and Maintain DBMS implemented on owned premise, clientโ€s premises, or as required by the companyโ€s business requirements.
Main System Infrastructures:

OS: UNIX and IBM AIX

Security: LDAP and/or Active Directory

Mail System : IMAP, POP3, SMTP
-
Network : LAN, WAN, Internet, VPN, SSL

Web Server: Web Sphere, Apache, IIS, Tomcat

Database: IBM DB2, MY SQL, Microsoft SQL
Language, Scripts, and Tools:
-
Shell Script on Linux and Windows, SQL, Java
-
Telnet, SSH, FTP, VNC, RDP

DBMS Tools (IBM)
