ESCAP is looking for a Linux system administrator, based in Bangkok, Thailand.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Administer the Linux servers infrastructure: responsible for provisioning, configuring, monitoring and overall make sure the servers run smoothly.
Qualifications:
The candidate must possess the following skills:
- 7+ years of experience in system administration of RedHat/CentOS and Suse Linux
- Required scripting knowledge (at least one of the following: shell, perl, python, ruby,...)
- Required ability to compile and install programs via custom rpm
- Experience with Puppet a plus
- Experience with Nagios a plus
- Experience with Java applications deployments with Tomcat a plus
- Experience with Drupal/php applications deployments with Apache httpd a plus
- Experience with MySql and Oracle databases a plus
- Experience with mod_security a plus
- Experience with Informatica and/or Sun/Oracle Identity Manager 10.x/11g and/or Sun Directory Server 7.x and/or Sun OpenSSO a plus.
Excellent verbal and written skills in English are required.
Education: Information Technologies related degree Years of Experience: at least seven years of professional experience.
Employment Term: Successful candidate will be offered attractive salary as fixed-term position, with possibilites of extension, in Bangkok, Thailand.
