As part of the Global Service Delivery Organization, the Network Operations Center (NOC) Support Engineer will be part of a new 24x7 team, providing 1st and 2nd level monitoring for Agoda’s global infrastructure and production environment. This will include but not limited to: server performance, database performance, xml performance and web services availability. You will have the opportunity to take part in building one of Agoda’s highest visibility teams and interface with various roles and teams.
Job Description
You will be based in the Bangkok office.
You will work as part of a 24x7 shift.
You will ensure that the Agoda services and platform (currently located in Hong Kong, Amsterdam and New York) are being reactively & proactively monitored 24x7.
You will timely escalate and manage any incidents or potential incidents to appropriate local or global teams to ensure quickest service restoration time.
You will analyze potential trends to drive down repeated incidents.
You will communicate clearly and concisely to the business/management the details of the incident, its impact to the business and the steps to ensure timely resolution and prevention.
Required Experience
Minimum of 1 year experience working and coordinating with various teams.
1+ year experience within Operations or Customer Service role.
Knowledge of common troubleshooting procedures for Windows Server, Network TCP and SQL.
Knowledge of systems monitoring tools such as Whats Up Gold, Adventnet etc. is a plus.
