Andovar (Thailand) Limited is seeking an experienced HTML 5 developer for conversion of Flash presentations and e-learning packages in our multimedia localization department.
You should be Thai, male or female, no older than 35 and with a dedication to professionalism and excellence in your work. This is a technical position with an emphasis on programming rather than design.
You should have worked on front-end UI systems, be they for the public web, apps, e-learning or interactive presentations that are of world-standard. You should have a passion for HTML, CSS, JS and other building blocks of the web. Mobile development a bonus.
The Work
You’ll be working under the direction of the multimedia department head to convert existing Flash e-learning packages or to recreate them in HTML 5. These packages will not be in Thai or English so you will be working in foreign languages and character sets most of the time. The multimedia team currently works in print, web, video, software and Flash localization.
What We Need
• Bachelor degree in related subject.
• Deep knowledge of HTML 5 and related technologies. This means HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, etc. HTML APIs for audio and video.
• Good knowledge of Flash and Action script development.
• Good general background of computing, including scripting, XML, general programming.
• Localization experiences a plus.
• Good spoken and written English. Other languages a bonus.
• Good ability to learn new skills and quickly adapt to new circumstances.
• Open minded problem solver.
The Job
This is a full-time position at our office in Sukhumvit 49, Bangkok. Monthly gross salary is Negotiable, depending on qualifications and experience. Working hours are 10.00 am to 7.00 pm. Package includes 10 days annual leave and medical insurance.
