Speech Data Ops Engineer

Job Description:
Speech Data Ops Engineer will manage project’s technical tasks related to decoding text and analyzing texnorm performance.

This includes:
Performing basic text normalization tasks on a huge amount of text data;
Write scripts to decode messy text with lots of dates, abbreviations, numbers, etc;
Write parsing rules in metacode;
Write verbalisation rules (e.g. to expand URLs, email addresses, numbers, etc).

Job Requirements:
Native speaker of the target language and fluent in English;
Computer science undergraduate;
Coding skills in Python;
Proficiency with HTML and experience building internal tools a plus;
Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts;
Excellent oral and written communicator.

The candidate works on-site at local Google office.
Project duration: 6 months (with potential for extension).
