Qualifications
- Proficient knowledge and experience with the LAMP stack.
- Experience with OS/Apache/MySql tuning.
- Experience with DRBD, Zimbra a plus
- Experience with LVM and various storage technologies
- Knowledge in kick start and automated deployments
- Exposure to VMware. Xen, KVM, or other virtualization technologies
- Knowledge with Open Source monitoring tools such as Cacti, Munin, MRTG, Xymon
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills.
- Capable of explaining simple procedures in writing or verbally, has good phone skills.
- A fundamental understanding of the Linux OS. Including troubleshooting, and tools.
- Excellent problem solving skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Knowledge of RedHat based Linux distributions
- Knowledge of and troubleshooting ability with: hardware, software, database, networking, and web services
