Senior C++ Developer
A developer at Vizrt works as part of an R&D team and reports to the team leader directly, who in turn reports to the Head of R&D in Thailand. The overall responsibility is to think out-of-the box to produce high-quality code for our systems. The successful candidate will not be afraid to ask questions, and will work independently, taking full responsibility for ensuring that the tasks assigned to him/her are done on time, to the highest quality standard. Tasks can include; coding, administration, documentation and bug fixing, as well as any other tasks related to getting and maintaining the customers’ channels on-air with our solutions.
Location will be Vizrt offices in suburban Bangkok.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop server application used for scheduling of medias, for live TV production
- Work in Bangkok with a development team in Bergen, Norway
- Participation in system design sessions
- Code software in accordance with the system design
- Assistance in the production of technical documentation
- Provide support for customer systems
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in developing applications with C++
- Strong knowledge of C++ and Object Oriented Programming
- Unafraid to ask questions or challenge ideas
- Team Player
- Fluency in spoken and written English is essential
- Bachelor Degree or higher in Computer Engineering/Science or related fields
