Our international client, a Canadian-based IT provider specializing in IT solutions for mid-sized companies, requires Software Engineers to join their Bangkok location.

Opportunity

Software Engineer Role

Specific areas of accountability will include but not be limited to:

 Developing web software applications based on client requirements
 Developing internal (R&D projects) applications based on R&D project manager requirements
 Implementing and adhering to timelines as determined by project managers
 Re-using code and commit updates to the re-usable code library
 Following and advancing software design and development best practices, methodologies and process
 Managing quality control process by testing deliverables against original specifications, defects (BUGS) and business logic
 Designing architecture and databases
 Working cooperatively with the Project Management, Development and Quality Assurance teams to ensure deliverables and timelines are met

Software Engineer Experience and Skill Set Requirements

 Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field from a recognized, accredited institution
• Minimum 2 years’ progressive experience in a software developer, programmer, or engineer role
• Experience in project management is beneficial
• Capacity to work flexible and/or additional hours as required to meet client needs and business requirements
• Facility to live and work in Thailand
• Tested and proven ability to read, write and speak highly functional English
