The primary objectives for this position are to ensure that;

* All finance and finance-related modules are working effectively and efficiently.
* Staff are trained in the use of the system
* The data has integrity; proper security is in the place to prevent unauthorized access and processing.
* Testing of the systems upgrades is performed and financial reporting is occurring timely and accurately.
* Liaison between Finance and IT
* Look after the project management on technology related projects related to the Finance function.

Responsibilities

The supervisor has overall responsibilities and accountability for the operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting for the following AccPac modules:

General Ledger

* Maintain Chart of accounts
* Maintain and monitor system security
* Interface from other modules
* Verification of system integrity through reconcilement of general ledger control accounts to subsidiary ledgers
* Perform monthly and annual fiscal closings

Accounts Payable/Purchasing / Accounts Receivable

* Ensure that Invoice and check processing are functioning properly
* Maintain codified system procedures for all accounts payable system functions
* Ensure that purchase order processing is functioning properly
* Maintain codified system procedures for all purchasing system functions
* Ensure that invoice and check processing are functioning properly
* Maintain codified system procedures for all accounts payable system functions

ACCPAC User Access Control

* Manipulate the chart of ACCPAC user for every environments
* Handle incoming ACCPAC user access requests and consider for add, amend and delete the user and user’s authorization accordingly.
* Monthly and Quarterly user and user’s authorization review.
* Submit the outstanding user and user’s authorization to the internal audit.

Purchasing Workflow

* Maintain Purchasing workflow configuration such as Item, Cost Center, Authority Level, email message and user configuration.
* The supervisor has overall responsibility and accountability for the operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting for any and all Finance-related modules implemented not included in the list above
* The supervisor has overall responsibility and accountability for the creation and implementation of testing plans to test future AccPac implementations. It is expected that the Manager coordinate all testing within Finance and IT
* The supervisor has overall responsibility and accountability for the creation, implementation, and continued production of various financial reporting
* In addition, the Project Manager is responsible and accountable for the integrity of data used by the financial systems. 
* The supervisor is responsible and accountable for developing and administering end-user Finance training
