ASSET P comes from "ASSET" and "PEOPLE". The name represents our dream of building things around people to solve their pain points. We are a design-led tech company with unique approach to build things. We believe that great designs solve real problems. Our process starts from product teams then our great engineers make it happen. All operations are integrated in order to deliver everything to our customers at top performance.

ASSET P's headquartered in Singapore and our new office is on Ratchadaphisek Road in Bangkok. There are no cubicles here, just open concept workspaces where we can all work together.

SOFTWARE ENGINEER - USER INTERFACE

WHO WE WANT

ASSET P is looking for great engineers to focus on the front-end development of our web applications. We're seeking expert front end developers who are passionate about creating easy to use web application interfaces. If you have a passion for creating elegant, simple and responsive web interfaces then keep reading!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Convert design from UI Designer to clean and bug free code rendering correctly in all major browsers on major platforms.
• Write front-end code in Javascript with some HTML5/CSS and perhaps Ruby.
• Understand and optimize complex Javascript client code. Research and apply the latest HTML5 technologies such as local storage, pushState etc.
• Design, implement, and maintain tools and infrastructure components primarily in Ruby. 
• Providing beautiful and fast code that improves the code-base of our products in meaningful ways. 
• Rapidly fix bugs and solve problems.
• Work closely with the Development team to incorporate feedback and design solutions to address them.
• Advise and implement practical SEO strategy for webpages

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to code 1:1 matching Web page to PSD, rendering correctly in all major browsers on major platforms.
• Thorough knowledge of HTML5, CSS and Javascript such as JQuery
• Proven track record building intuitive, high traffic, consumer facing websites for a tech savvy audience.
• Familiarity with agile software methodologies - able to thrive in a fast-paced, highly-collaborative environment.
• Strong commitment to quality.
• Thorough understanding of software testing and cross browser testing.
• Ruby on Rails, PHP, MySQL, Git
• Stylish coding of CMS themes, email templates.
• Practical knowledge of SEO in Web design and development.
• Previous start-up experience is a plus.
• Design skills is a definite plus.
