Technical Associate, Google Apps
As a Technical Associate, you will work with university IT administrators, professors and students to enhance the use of Google Apps in universities. You will be providing solutions to their challenging technical issues and optimizing their Google Apps experience.
You must have good attitude with the heart of helping people. You need to bring your creative thinking to our energetic team to help us achieve the mission of upgrading students learning experience. You also are a quick learner, with the interest in mail and web technologies with a commitment to providing schools with the best possible Google Apps experience. You will also help in training people to have a better understand Google Apps in Education and also creating a good info graphic video. We work as a team, work must be fun.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and deliver technical solutions to Google Apps for Education’s university through one-to-one communication, effective prioritization, data analysis, and dedication to providing a world-class user experience
Use analysis of customer interactions to drive operational improvements to support organization and product functionality
Collaborate with project manager and the team to troubleshoot complex technical issues and advocate for feature development (Product may include, Gmail, Docs, Calendar, Groups, Sites, Mobile and Google Plus)
Requirements:
Any Bachelor degree with a strong academic record. Information Technology, Computer Science , MIS preferred.
Experience in technical customer support, consulting or software development, and demonstrated interest in related technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as a desire to drive valuable and positive change for a rapidly growing team and business.
Good written and verbal communication skills and attention to the detail. If you can fluently communicate in English , it would be great!
Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, HTTP, Java).
Understand the LMS(Learning Management System) , CMS (Content Management )such as Moodle, Blackboard
Experience working with HTML or HTTP protocols in a support or developer role is a plus.
Experience with mail delivery or network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP) or administration of Exchange, Sendmail, Postfix, Active Directory/LDAP a plus.
