The Senior Windows System Engineer is part of our Infrastructure team and supports all Windows Infrastructure in local and remote locations. The successful candidate has significant experience managing Windows systems, specifically in the area of Active Directory, Microsoft Internet Information Server and SQL Server.

Experience

* Over 5 years of experience in managing systems in a Microsoft technologies based environment
* Experience with IIS-based website hosting, possibly in the context of an e-commerce company
* Working with complex, multi-disk storage solutions from a major vendor in storage or hardware

Education

Candidate should have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Certification in Microsoft fields (MCSE or working on it) is a significant plus factor.

Skills/Abilities

* Solid understanding of Windows 2008(r2) server configuration
* Significant experience in managing Internet Information Server 7.
* Experience with Active Directory, Trust relationships, and Group Policy Objects
* Thorough awareness of security for Microsoft Windows based networks
* Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and application protocols (DNS, IMAP, DHCP, HTTP, SMTP, POP3, etc)
* Knowledge in Microsoft Windows in a cluster environment
* Good English skills in speaking, reading, writing.
* Strong analytical skills and Team orientated
