The Infrastructure Architect is responsible for the conceptualization, technical design and high-level oversight of the network and storage infrastructure deployed across Agoda’s corporate enterprise.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience designing and/or managing complex, distributed IT infrastructure, ideally in the context of an online services provider or ISP. As Agoda operates at the forefront of the technology, the candidate will need to be able to devise solutions to new, ‘first of a kind’ problems or requirements.

Although this position will not have any direct report, the role requires the capacity to coordinate the activity of local or remote staff for specific project assignments.

The candidate will need to be able to operate in a flexible, fast-moving, technology-oriented and multi-cultural environment.

Required Experience :

* At least 5 years of in-depth experience designing complex network and storage platforms
* Solid knowledge of the Microsoft windows platform (physical and virtualized environments)
* Practical experience working with typical data center equipment (blade servers, SAN arrays, load-balancing environments, etc)
* Detail oriented, process driven, highly innovative mindset, with deeply ingrained sense of owndership for the service delivered
* Good English speaking, reading and writing skills
* Working with complex web hosting environments
* Detailed knowledge of one or more of the following hardware platforms: IBM/HP/Juniper/Cisco/F5/Avaya
* Knowledge of ITIL IT management principles & best practices
* Exposure to internal control standards (SOX 404, ISO 9001/14001, etc.)
* Exposure to voice systems (Avaya), SIP/VoIP, call centre technology
