Responsibilities
This position is an operational role in that team, ensuring that the right code versions, configurations, connectivity, user accounts and data are in the right test instances at the right times. The position also involves monitoring the environments and getting the right support resources working on problems quickly to maximise test availability.
There are at least six large test environments, and multiple teams spread from Beijing to San Francisco running different tests in parallel. The environments are supported by various other groups, including legacy services who follow different release cycles and priorities. Obviously this role requires significant coordination work between teams and the people supporting the platform. This role often involves managing contention and agreeing a solution. There is detailed interaction with technical teams and also the need to interact with business stakeholders.

Ensuring those resources are focused on priority issues, and moving issues along when they get "stuck"... all in the context that these support teams do not report to you.
-Reporting on performance against time-related support and deployment SLAs by Development, Operations and other support teams
-Pushing for root causes of incidents to avoid them happening again in Integration (or indeed Production)
Test Coordination: -Ensuring code/data versions and configurations are documented clearly so that environment users know what they are testing on
-Providing accurate and timely information to Test on environment availability and when they can test
-Helping to schedule performance tests and disruptive outages on the test environments
