Hi there!

Employment type: Full-time/Part-time (just get it done on time)
Telecommute: Fine

supply2retail.com wants to create an online distribution system for the
restaurants of Bangkok. Our web site will handle ordering and payment,
providing the link between suppliers and retailers.

The web site will accommodate several sellers, who will update the
information on their own products, such as prices, stock status. The
administrative back-end interface will have to be clean and easy to use.

The web site will also cater to restaurants and pubs, who will be able
to purchase from all suppliers through a web site with a clean and easy
front-end. The site distributes information and payments from the
retailers to the suppliers.

Our technical solution involves Linux, MySQL, Apache, PHP, Drupal,
and Drupal Commerce. (This will eventually be linked to Thai banking
software for automatic payments, but not in phase one.)

As you can see, Drupal Commerce does not cover all our needs. We need
multiple-sellers, for example, similar to what Ubercart Marketplace did,
but Drupal commerce does not have such a module. We need to either create
one from scratch, or somehow migrate the old Ubercart Marketplace module
to Drupal Commerce.

Your qualifications:

  • Drupal back-end development, programming Drupal modules, managing the
interchange of data between the application and the browser, server-side
    PHP programming

  • Drupal front-end development, control the display of content in the
browser, HTML, XML, CSS, XSL, JavaScript.

  • Independent skills, such as being able to work on your own and finding
solutions to minor problems without asking.

  • Social skills, such as understanding spoken English, taking direction,
and being able to argue pros and cons.

This is a contract job for a Thai national, as we already have too many farangs in the company. You will sometimes work from home and sometimes
in the Pathumwan area.

Please send your questions or your CV and expected budget to
joran@omark.org

Cheers!
