Job Description

•Ensure that monitoring of network and server status is carried out globally.

•Ensure that requests and support calls from other departments are acted on in a timely manner.

•Ensure that the Desktop Support Team provides timely onsite and global support as part of the GSD organization.

•Ensure the team has adequate skills to troubleshoot Windows 7. Microsoft Office 2010, Microsoft Dynamics and various web based tools.

•Ensure the team can support and maintain new hardware and software.

•Ensure that incidents are correctly prioritized and worked within the SLA

•Provide weekly status updates and reports to the GSD Manager

Education

Candidate should have a Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

Skills/Abilities

•Strong in Desktop Support, laptop builds and configuration, remote VPN access and troubleshooting.

•Good knowledge of System Administration for Windows 2008r2 Server, Active Directory.

•Microsoft certification and a basic understanding of networking

•VOIP / PABX experience (preferably Avaya or Cisco)

•Good communication motivated and must be able to lead.

•Strong in English. Both oral and written.
