Responsibilities

Develop and demonstrate competence in integrating and configuring Front-To-Back products, specifically the Reuters Kondor+ Treasury and Risk system.
Work under supervision of project manager and/or Services manager as part of the implementation team to:
o conduct IT requirements analysis and design.
o install and configure the Reuters Trade and Risk applications.
o integrate and interface Reuters Risk applications with 3rd party applications.
o conduct client IT training and product presentation.
o assist with user acceptance testing and sign-off.
o understand and assist with data conversion and transformation.
Able to assist Project Managers to eliminate risks and increase the likelihood of project success through the provision of advice and guidance during project planning, project risk assessment and during the project implementation cycle.
Build relationships with clients, understanding their systems and business requirements. Thus being well positioned in giving advice on resolving and developing their use of our solutions and products from a functional perspective.
Provide application support and problem management where required.
Be enthusiastic, flexible and be able to work under pressure, demonstrating a can do attitude, setting standards to be followed. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and demonstrate a commitment to team working.
Able to work autonomously, be creative and willing to search for alternative solutions.
Be responsible and able to take ownership of assigned tasks.
Able to work using a number of languages is preferred but is not essential.
Able and willing to travel frequently, mostly in ASEAN region.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineer, Information Technology or related field
UNIX - Solaris / AIX; Windows OS and networking.
UNIX scripting.
Relational database systems, preferably Sybase ASE.
SQL (Transact SQL) programming.
Experience in programming languages in any or several of these (Java, C++, Visual Basic, - - Scripting : UNIX shell, perl, awk).
Experience with XML, XSLT, HTML technology.
Experience in software development, project process and integration methodology.
Very good knowledge of English language.
Very good communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
Very good analysis and problem solving skills.
Ability to write technical documentation.
