Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent -
Basic English language read & written skill -
2 years experiences in DB2 database support -
Able to perform some certain tasks on non-business hours IBM Certification in DB2 Database Administrator for Unix and Windows -
Be Committed, responsible, and customer-oriented
General Description of Duties and Responsibilities
-
Provide full-time on-site technical support for DB2 database administration to work at customer headquarter and occasionally at DRC outskirts of Bangkok -
Be responsible for DB2 database administration including (but not limited to) the following tasks:
-patch installation
-database backup/recovery
-add/delete/modify/extend schema
-monitoring
-performance tuning
-problem determination and escalation
-providing technical consultancy to customer's staff
-
Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly service report and incident report to customer
