คืิอกำลังตัดสินใจว่าอยากเล่น Android แบบ custom ROM อ่ะครับ. ก็เลยคิดอยู่ว่าจะเลือก Android Phone หรือ Android Tablet ดี? หาข้อมูลไปเลยรู้ว่า Honeycomb ยังไม่เปิด Source Code ในตอนนี้. แต่มีแนวโน้มมากแค่ไหน/นานเท่าไหร่ที่ Google จะเปิด Source Code? ความคาดหวังของผมคือถ้าภายใน 1-2 เดือนหลังจากที่ Android Tablet ออกแล้ว Google ปล่อย Source Code จริงๆ ผมจะเลือก Tablet ไปเลย.

ถ้าจำไม่ผิด Honeycomb จะไม่เปิดครับ จะไปเปิดอีกที Ice Cream เลยที่รวม Gingerbread และ Honeycomb เข้าด้วยกันแล้ว

Source ตามปกติจะเปิดแค่บางส่วนครับ เช่น เคอร์เนล ฯลฯ ตามเงื่อนไข GPL
ส่วนที่ไม่ใช่ GPL ก็ตามที่ว่าคือไม่เปิดครับ

Google กลัวคนเล่นแผลง ๆ เอา Honeycomb ไปลงมือถือครับ เพราะระบบมือถือมันยังไม่นิ่ง (เขาบอกว่ามันไม่สเถียรเอาซะเลย) ก็เลยปิดไว้ก่อน
สรุปง่าย ๆ ว่า รอปลายปีครับ อิอิ
ตอนนี้ก็เล่น Gingerbread ไปก่อนนะครับ
