Virus Studios is a well-funded, start-up computer games developer and all-around cool place to work.​ We have some big plans for the future that will pretty much take us off the charts.​ This is where you come in.​ We are looking for a few brave, superstar developers with a keen understanding of user experience, exceptional communication sills and the ability to hit the deadline every time.​

We believe that working closely together is important, so we're looking for people who can work full time here at our office.​ In other words, we're not interested in freelancers or outsourcing deals.​ We have a full-time gig waiting for the right person in our office.​ and we really need someone who can hit the ground running.​

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Responsible for many aspects of design, construction and deployment of a scalable web application.​
* Build a web application that will be used by millions of people!

Required Skills:

* Track record of delivering well designed web applications (3+​years)
* Experience with Ruby on Rails framework (2+​years)
* Extensive experience with Ruby, (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including JSON and AJAX)
* Comfortable working with SQL
* Solid knowledge of the full software development life-cycle
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Source control - Mercurial, SVN, Git (at least one)

Bonus Skills:

* Social media integration a plus (Facebook, Twitter, Mixi, Hi5, etc.​)
* Comfortable working with Linux
* Familiar with iPhone or Android app development
