Typically works on one project at a time and as a member of the project team(s) or as part of a team on multiple developments. Multiple projects assigned will be possible.
- Works independently within defined parameters, taking ownership of problems within own area of knowledge.
- Developing and integrating applications per written specifications.
- Making modifications to existing software applications and modules in accordance with written specifications and industry standards.
- Unit testing and implementing application modules they have developed or modified, ensuring application meets needs of client and business.
- May involve some 3rd level technical support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineer, Information Technology or related field
- At least 2 years experience with knowledge of J2EE, J2SE development.
- Knowledge of Design Pattern, UML and Object-oriented Programming
- Knowledge of Distributed System Design and Implementation
- Knowledge of Web-based Enterprise Application Development and Web Service on platforms such as Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere, IIS/.Net
- Knowledge of XML, XML schema, Web Service technology.
- Experience of using JUnit.
- Knowledge of protocols such as HTTP, TCP and UDP
- Good in English for both spoken and written
