Position Overview:
Clickon is looking to hire a sharp, ambitious, experienced PHP Developer with minimum of 5 years experience to work on project basis and in-house product to create a new user experience website and mobile applications for end user. This includes extending and improving an object-oriented PHP framework (e.g. Zend, Cake), JQuery, html 5, iPhone SDK, Android SDK and more. The ideal candidate will be self motivate to learn, have a strong leadership skill, and customer orientated. This position will suit a self-starter who is looking to grow their skill set and responsibility.
Responsibilities: * Lead the developer team and work with graphic designer and project managers in creating and modifying customer project and in-house product. * Understand requirements, implement solutions, and provide administration tools and documentation for specific projects. * Perform scheduled on-call duties. * Participate in Design and Code Reviews; Suggest best practices; Recommend new ideas that align with our objectives. * Follow and enhance existing development processes; Measure and verify that new and old code has acceptable performance and scalability. * Maintain ownership of the projects assigned * Deliver accurate estimates, provide regular feedback and consistently meet project deadlines.
Required Skills/Experiences: * Collaborative development experience, able to explain complex ideas and concepts to non-technical team members * Understand how and why unit testing delivers better solutions and speeds up maintenance * Great attention to detail * Strong experience with MySQL; tier architecture * Experience with Web Standards e.g. XHTML/HTML /CSS * Excellent skills in commenting work and creating technical and user documentation * Related experience in software testing and design desired * Team-oriented experience highly desired * Excellent oral and written communication skills regardless of audience * Any of Java, C++, C#, Html5 will be and advantage
Qualifications: * University degree in Computer Science or related programming field * Ideally have work experience with open source CMS such as Drupal and Wordpress * Ability to effectively manage time and schedules * Ability to work independently and proactively and as a member of a team
