Responsibilities
The Quality Assurance Group Leader will lead a group of Quality Assurance Engineers assigned to software projects. He/She will ensure that the software quality assurance activities are adequately resourced in terms of staff, tools and test environment as well as compliant with testing and development methodology and policies. The other important aspect of the role is to identify opportunities to improve the development and software quality assurance process.
Qualifications
•Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or any equivalent degree.
•Minimum 4 years experience in Software Development or Software Testing
•Experienced in Project and Staff Management
•Possess strong background in structured software testing methodologies and testing techniques
•Strong knowledge/background in the following technical areas is considered an asset:
-O/S: Windows/Solaris/Linux Administration
-Language: Java, C#.Net, Java Script or other script languages
-Others: Web Services Technologies, Internet Application Technologies and TCP/IP networking skills
-Familiarity with automation and performance test tools
•Possess strong leadership and good interpersonal skills
•Good command of oral and written English communication skill
