Brief Job Description:
Typically works as a member of project team(s) varied by project assignment and accountable for quality of own work, perform coding, debugging and coordinating work within team or cross function staff to ensure applications being modified/developed meet needs of business
Key Responsibilities:
- Participating in project planning sessions with team members to analyze Development requirements
- Developing and integrating applications per written specifications and involving in basic design specifications
- Translating technical requirements into application code and modules
- Supporting team in the preparation of status updates for projects
- Making modifications to existing software applications and modules in accordance with written specifications and industry standards
- Unit testing and implementing application modules being developed or modified, ensuring application meets needs of business
- Performing operating software impact assessment e.g. Window OS vulnerability assessment etc. to ensure the patch will not adversely impact functionality
- Takes part in reviews of the work of colleagues
Qualification:
- Degree in Computer science/engineering or any development related field
- 0-3 years in software development with knowledge of .NET, OOP, XML, J2SE, Macromedia Flash and other web related technology will be advantage
- Hand-on experience in C++ and/or Java is preferable
- Posses sound technical writing skills in English
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a high pressure delivery-oriented team environment
