กูเกิลใคร่ขอแจ้งให้ท่านทราบเกี่ยวกับการเปิดให้ใช้บริการของกูเกิลข่าวสาร หรือ Google News เวอร์ชั่นภาษาไทย ซึ่งท่านสามารถค้นหาหัวข้อข่าวในภาษาไทยจากสำนักข่าวต่างๆ หลายแห่งทั่วประเทศ

กูเกิลข่าวสารเพิ่มยอดการเข้าไปอ่านข่าวสารของผู้อ่านข่าวในเว็บไซต์ต้นทางที่นำเสนอข่าวนั้น ซึ่งสำนักข่าวจะสามารถสร้างรายได้จากปริมาณผู้เข้าชมที่กูเกิลข่าวสารนำมาเพิ่มให้นี้ผ่านทางโปรแกรมโฆษณาที่ใช้อยู่ปัจจุบัน เช่น Google AdSense โดยที่ผลการค้นหาบนหน้ากูเกิลค้นหา (Google Search) จะแสดงพาดหัวข่าวและเนื้อข่าวย่อๆ ซึ่งผู้อ่านสามารถคลิกไปที่ลิงก์ของพาดหัวข่าวเพื่ออ่านเนื้อหาเต็มได้จากเว็บไซต์ของสำนักข่าวนั้นๆ

We'd just like to give you a heads up on Google News in Thai, which launched today. The Thai edition of Google News lets you search for news topics in the local language and access the most up-to-date news stories from dozens of local news outlets around the country.

Google News sends additional traffic to the site where original news stories are published, which publishers can monetize using an online ads system such as Google AdSense. The Google News search results page only displays the headline and a short 1-2 sentence snippet of the story. If readers wish to access the rest of the article, they must click on the story link, which sends them to the publisher's site.
