Reuters Messaging is a tool which has been used widely for communication. Reuters Messaging is a product from Reuters Collaboration Services team. Currently the team is expanding and we are looking for Senior/Quality Assurance Engineer to work with the team on non functional testing.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for providing for the planning, integration, casing, scripting, and execution of all testing required of a single software change or project.
• Reviewing business requirements, and design specifications for low to moderately complex changes/systems for completeness and testability.
• Developing and maintaining test plans, test environment, test cases, test scripts and/or workflow usage, with some assistance.
• Conducting testing using company-specific, manual or automated processes.
• Executing test scripts/cases and communicating the results of testing.
• Preparing and maintaining test case documentation (which may include alignment to client configurations).
• Diagnosing and resolving technical and operational problems on installed networks, systems or products.
• Recommending improvements to the testing processes to create efficiencies.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields
• At least 2 years experience in the following area:-
- - Administration and Network configuration skill
- Setting up network connectivity
- Configure servers, server applications, workstation and desktop software including Mail Client
- Establish and manage data backup process and disaster recovery plan to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the server and network
- Network and DB analysis, design and programming
• System architecture and multi platform integration
• Experience or knowledge in the following will be will be an advantage
- - SharePoint, Exchange server
- Programming C++, C# (We expected candidate can develop a tool for monitor server)
• Experience with high performance, high availability database/ application architectures
• Knowledge of application architectural concept
• Good command of English
