INDY CLOUD is a boutique software development and consulting company which has set out to change the game of data management. We have flow, the ultimate cloud database interface and will conquer the world with it.

What you will do in this position:

You will maintain and possibly redesign the database bit of our application. That includes the structure of the databases, database server considerations as well as the query compilation in the application. For that you will work closely together with the whole development team, especially DevOps. It’s all about performance and you will squeeze out the last little bit we haven’t gotten to yet while keeping the application secure and stable.

Requirements for this position:

We don’t judge you on how you look on paper. A formal degree in computer science or a related field is a plus, but no requirement for this position. You must however have at least four years of experience in the domain of database development.

Good knowledge of anything database is crucial, with heavy emphasis on PostgreSQL and MongoDB. You must be able to independently find best approaches to given problems, communicate efficiently and productively work together with the rest of the team. Flow is a data-driven application so you need to be able to understand the entire stack in order to fulfill your tasks. We expect you to be a performance addict.
