Job Summary
The PHP Developer will be responsible for helping with a variety of aspects within the Information & Systems department including, but not limited to, intranet maintenance and development, implementing new modules on the intranet, database entry and maintenance. The PHP Developer will be based at the EXO Travel Group head office in Bangkok and work in the Information & Systems Department, reporting to the Systems Project Manager.
Location: Sathorn Road, Bangkok, Thailand (near MRT Lumpini / Silom, BTS Sala Daeng)
Duties
The PHP developer will assist the Information & Systems Director and team in a variety of tasks and projects. Tasks include, but are not limited to, Intranet maintenance and development, implementing new modules on the intranet, database entry and maintenance.
Your duties shall comprise, without being limited to:

1. Researching and developing modules and plug-ins to be integrated into EXO Travel’s Intranet, which is based on Bitrix software.
2. Work with Information & Systems Director and other colleagues to plan for and implement improvements to EXO Travel’s Intranet.
3. Create/modify content throughout existing as well as new webpage(s) on the Intranet.
4. Compose, optimize and maintain code for our web projects by making use of PHP and MySQL.
5. Provide guidance, support and training for other staff where relevant and necessary.
6. Participate in planning, creating, testing and assessing design and functionality of web development projects
7. Integrate third-party software / applications
   Skills – Required
8. PHP (Procedural coding and Object-Oriented) within a LAMP environment
9. MySQL and SQL Server
10. HTML and CSS
11. Javascript, JQuery and Ajax
12. XML
13. Able to do fairly basic design and image work
    Skills – Nice to have
14. Knowledge of Bitrix codebase and structure
15. New technologies such as node.js, MongoDB, React, HTML5, DART
16. Familiar with Agile Project Management methodologies
17. LINUX scripting and server maintenance.
18. Knowledge of Tourplan travel management software and its “HostConnect” API

Requirements:

• Thai Nationality
• Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, IT or related fields.
• A dedicated and professional working attitude, and a willingness to fit into a dynamic, diverse and rapidly growing company.
• A reasonable understanding of written and spoken English.
• Some experience of working in the Travel industry would be an advantage
