Front-End Web Developer

Salary: 30-50k (Negotiable Depending on Experience)

PeerPower is seeking a highly talented "Front-End Web Developer" to develop our P2PL marketplace platform, reporting directly to the CTO.

What will you do at PeerPower?

• Develop front-end parts of our P2PL marketplace platform
• Implement the platform based on the design from the UI/UX designer or as instructed by the CTO
• Ensure the code quality and architecture is in line with best practice
• Supervise intern developers
• Communicate with external vendors
• Assist and co-ordinate with back-end developers as required

Qualifications

• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap3, JQuery, Responsive Design, and one of the JavaScript frameworks e.g. AngularJS, VueJS, or ReactJS
• Be able to communicate in English
• Experience with SASS, Bower, Gulp, NPM
• Experience with Restful API call
• Experience with Version Control (Git)
• Experience with PHP language and framework is a plus e.g. Laravel and Lumen
• Experience with SOLID principles, design patterns, TDD and Unit testing is a plus
• DevOps skill on AWS or other Cloud services is a plus

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics or other quantitative disciplines

Possesses strong analytical/quantitative skills with a love for statistics and numbers

• Proficient in online technology, and intellectually curious
• Familiarity with or deep interest in machine learning, social network analytics, and data mining
• Resourceful, responsible and active team player
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Creative, dynamic and entrepreneurial, with a strong belief in startup creation
• Prior experience in coding Python/PHP/R is a plus
• Responsible for working with our teams to gather, understand, collate and document business requirements. Support the Senior Risk Managers to articulate business requirements into functional specifications
• Assist in designing, developing and validating qualitative & quantitative risk analysis tools, which will be used to manage, measure, and monitor measurable risks
• Identify obstacles, proactively mitigate risks and escalate issues to be resolved effectively
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Senior Risk Managers or the CTO from time to time
