An award-winning Social Startup looking for a Lead Developer and a Backend Engineer

1. Lead developer
As the Lead Engineer at Socialgiver.com, it’s your responsibility to create and maintain a world-class platform that serves our key users: Businesses, Customers, and Social Projects. The lead engineer will work with the Product Owner, Back End Engineer(s), and Front End Engineer to continuously improve Socialgiver.com.

• Propose, plan, and develop new features on the website
• Improve existing features on the website
• Help estimate work effort for improvements and new features
• Manage front-end/back-end developers and perform code reviews
• Responsible for the quality of the end product
• Ensuring that code is kept up to date and meets industry standards
• Manage deployment process

Our ideal candidates are technical experts who are committed to delivering the best possible customer experience; value software engineering practices; and never forget about scalability and reusability when designing code.
Technical hands-on coder
Strong knowledge of web development frameworks, programming libraries and protocols such as JQuery, HTML, CSS, AJAX, RESTful APIs etc

• Solid experience with PHP / MYSQL (Framework experience preferred)
• Proven experience with Wordpress (WooCommerce experience a plus)
• Experience with e-Commerce website and web technologies
• Strong experience with server configurations (Apache, Linux etc
• English proficiency (Reading, Writing and Spoken)

Nice to haves:

• Experience of Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, Opswork etc).
• Experience in Android and iOS would be a plus

Experience: 3-6 years
Language: Must be fluent in both Thai and English
Salary range: 60,000-80,000 baht

2. Backend Engineer

• Improve existing features on the website
• Help estimate work effort for improvements and new features
• Ensuring that code is kept up to date and meets industry standards
• Manage deployment process
• Strong knowledge of web development frameworks, programming libraries and protocols such as JQuery, HTML, CSS, AJAX, RESTful APIs etc
• Solid experience with PHP / MYSQL (Framework experience preferred)
• Experience with Wordpress (WooCommerce experience a plus)
• Experience with e-Commerce website and web technologies
• Experience with server configurations (Apache, Linux etc)
