Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for exceptional talented people that are wanting to be a part of our technical team in Bangkok. A position is vacant for a Java System Developer. The technology we currently use are Java 8, SpringBoot, Apache ActiveMQ, Apache Camel and your knowledge and exposure to these technologies are an advantage. At ABC Tech, we always open to new technology such as Cassandra, Docker, Node.js and Apache Spark. We research and experiment them if they could help us creating better products.

We operate in full-stack Agile teams and collaborate closely with teams in Norway. We love developers that have ownership and accountability, a can-do attitude, love learning new things and passionate in technology. You will be joining in one of our cross-functional agile development teams, helping the team in implementing solutions within our enterprise environment and applications.

Responsibilities:

Develop, and test software code
Participate in code review
Collaborate with other members within an agile, cross-functional team
Follow software development best practices and company standards/guidelines
Work independently with under minimal supervision from more experienced members of the team
Analyze requirements and inquire/make suggestions to Product Owner/Tech Lead
Writing operational documentation for improved efficiency when required.
maintaining systems by monitoring and correcting defects
work in close collaboration with Thailand & Norwegian teams within Agile/Scrum methodology
Adopt a consultative approach with colleagues, participate in open discussions on best practices, alternative frameworks and design pattern strategies.
R&D into innovative technologies, implementation & communicate key learnings
Engage in continuous improvement programs, re-training and skill building, attend courses when required to improve.

Qualifications:

Thai Nationality
At least 2-3 years of experience working in web development field
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields
Good command of written and spoken english
Self motivated and eager-to-learn attitude
Proficient in Java
SQL and NoSQL Databases
Strong knowledge in OOP and Data Structures
Webservice SOAP/REST
Java web frameworks Eg. Spring, Spring Boot, Dropwizard
