Job Location:

This position will be based in Ladkrabang Industrial Estate (close to Suvannaphoom Airport), Bangkok.

Mission :

The Software Developer is responsible towards delivering reliable software but not limited to hardware solutions, writing impeccable code and delivering projects on time and budget.

The Software Developer also takes ownership or at least actively participates in the assigned development projects from the requirement definition step until project delivery. He/She must have the ability to multi-task, attend meetings with project team and clients worldwide, as required to ensure needs are met and successfully deliver all assigned projects.

Roles & Responsibilities:-
Understand, operate and maintain within the context of Rx Calculation System evolutions but not limited to its components and inclusive of Data Management tools
Conduct technical analysis on Rx Calculation system requirements; core, components, tools and system
Provide support and solution for new products, new technologies and other technical requests.
Develop, maintain, trouble shoot, enhance and document the components developing as per the requirements and specifications, inclusive best practices and coding standards in mind.
Participate in achieving software quality and propose continuous improvement methodology for Rx Calculation System and Data Management Technologies
Able to unit test code by writing automated tests, to contribute the software efficiency and quality improvement
Conduct peer-reviews and lead-reviews with feedback providing
Propose software optimizing and its performance tuning for various real-time environment of clients such as OS, db compliance, software platforms and framework.
Provide technical training to peers when required
Participate in the integration of Rx Calculation system (and its Tools) with other IT Systems of ESSILOR
Provide technical expertise to support the integration project team
Organize and ensure training and transfer of skills to support and deployment teams as required or needed.

Qualifications:-
Bachelor or Master Degree in Information System or Computer Science
At least 2 yrs. experiences in C# software development or relevant fields
Possessive 3 yrs experience in Business / functional analysis would be advantage
Strong technical knowledge of Agile methodology, Software Development processes
Growing understanding of business and operational systems and models.
Knowledge of computer program design methods and techniques, as well as the computer logic and overall computing environment
Ability to multi-task and stay organised in a dynamic work environment.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English
