สอบถามเรื่องการใช้งาน 2 factors authentication บน Smartphone ในกรณีที่เครื่องดันหายหรือโดนขโมย

ปกติผมใช้มือถือ 2G โบราณ 1 เครื่อง กับ iPad ซึ่งมี SIM 3G อีกเครื่องครับ โดยผมใช้เครื่อง 2G ไว้รับ SMS สำหรับรหัส 2 factors authentication เวลาเข้าใช้ gmail และ facebook

พอดีผมไปเที่ยวแล้ว iPad ผมโดนขโมยไป ซึ่งโชคดีที่ผมใช้มือถือ 2G รับ SMS สำหรับ login เข้า gmail เพื่อเปลี่ยน password ได้ครับ ผมยังไม่คิดจะซื้อ iPad ใหม่ในตอนนี้ และมีแผนจะซื้อมือถือ Android มาใช้ชั่วคราว

ปัญหาที่สงสัยคือ ถ้าผมใช้ SIM ของมือถือ 2G มาใช้บน Smartphone Android ซะเลย และใช้มันรับ SMS สำหรับ 2 factors authentication ด้วย (หรือโหลด app สำหรับ gencode เพื่อ login) แล้วถ้ามือถือผมดันหายอีก แล้วแบบนี้ผมจะเข้า gmail+facebook เพื่อเข้าไป reset password อย่างไรครับ?

ใครพอมีคำแนะนำเกี่ยวกับเรื่องนี้บ้างครับ เนื่องจากไม่เคยใช้งาน Smartphone เลย ขอบคุณครับ

ถ้าคุณลงทะเบียนซิมเอาไว้แล้ว เมื่อไหร่ที่คุณทำหายก็เดินเข้าไปทำเรื่องขอซิมการ์ดใหม่ได้ครับ

สำหรับ Google จะมีรหัสผ่านสำรองไว้(6 รหัสมั๊ง) คุณต้อง print ออกมาแล้วเก็บไว้อย่างดีครับ แต่ของ fb ผมไม่ทราบครับ

google มีให้ 10 code ครับ

เท่าที่รู้ ทุกเว็บที่ใช้ 2 factors authen มีรหัสผ่านสำรองไว้ให้นะครับ ยิ่งเฟซนี่สบายเลย ใช้เครื่องที่เข้าระบบไว้อยู่แล้วปลดล็อกได้โดยไม่ต้องใช้รหัสเพิ่ม

ส่วนตัวผมมี 7 Mozart ไว้อีกเครื่องครับ เวลาเพิ่มรหัสผมจะเพิ่มไว้ทั้งสองเครื่องกันเหนียว

2 เครื่องเหมือนกันแต่ผมใส่ไว้ใน pebble อีกอัน ฮา

ที่ไม่ชอบเลยคือ id blizzard ใช้ app ทั่วไปไม่ได้เลยเซง

ขั้นตอน multi-factor authentication ในกรณีที่ตัวเจน authenticator ซึ่งมักติดกับมือถือที่หายไปนั้น ผู้ให้บริการส่วนใหญ่จะมีตัวเลือกในกรณีนี้อยู่อีก 2 ทางคือ รหัสสำรอง และ OTP ที่เป็น SMS เข้ามือถือ โดยเท่าที่ผมใช้มา ทั้ง Google, Microsoft หรือ Facebook จะมีช่องทางทั้งสองเป็นช่องทางสำรอง แต่แน่นอนว่าต้องตั้งค่าให้ครบตั้งแต่ครั้งแรกที่เปิด multi-factor authentication ครับ ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่จะแนะนำไว้ให้อยู่แล้ว (อย่างน้อยๆ ก็ OTP)

แต่ก็มีหลายบริการที่มีปัญหา อย่าง blizzard ต้องใช้ขั้นตอน forgot รหัสผ่านเพื่อปลดออกอย่างเดียว หรือบางบริการต้องเข้าสู่ขั้นตอน support เพื่อเปิด ticket ในการ reset ให้ โดยมักให้เราส่งหลักฐานอย่างบัตรประจำตัวประชาชนในการเข้าขั้นตอนถอด multi-factor authentication ออก โดยขั้นตอนทั้งหมดที่ว่า จะทำผ่าน E-mail ที่ได้สมัครไว้ ฉะนั้นสุดท้าย ส่วนที่สำคัญที่สุดคืออีเมลครับ
