The core job purpose of the Business Analyst is to analyze and validate the software requirements, ensuring that all the needs of the stakeholders are met and to author extensive software requirements documents that bridge the gap between the needs of the stakeholders and the technical needs to be delivered to the development team.

Job description:
The BA will be responsible for:
-Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional / technical requirements that cover all business needs.
-Provide functional design (Application workflow, Screen mockup and Reports)
-Develop detailed software specifications ensuring that they respond to business needs and are able to be clearly understood by development teams
-Develop documents to support the project (SRS, Work flows and User Manuals)
-Work with the test team to translate business requirements into test cases
-Work with the Project Managers to ensure that the development meets the established scope and requirements
-Provide support during the user acceptance test.
-Supervise Tests Scrip creation
-Provide user training

Profile:
-Master's Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
-3-5 years of experience in Software development (management, design, implementation, system analysis, service/support).
-Analytical & technically skilled – ability to understand how practical a solution is, with reference to the business requirements and propose different solutions where applicable.
-Knowledge about the Travel / Medical / Automotive Insurance Business will be an advantage.
-Knowledge about programming languages like J2EE & Java Technology, ASP.Net and PHP will be an advantage.
-Knowledge about Web Services will be an advantage.
-Knowledge of web languages including HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.
-Knowledge of the OOAD and OOP concepts.
-Familiar with databases.
-Experience in Test Driven Development.
-Ability to work under pressure.
-Willing to work as a team.
-Must be self-motivated, proactive and have a positive working attitude.
-Good listening and communication skills (intermediary between business and technical solution suppliers).
-Good verbal and written communication skills in English
