  • OSNews (seems not to be in the same quality in last 2-3 years ago)
  • Engadget (most frequent update!)
  • TechCrunch (for web 2.0 news)

I dont exactly watch most of the bigger sites, but occasionally visit slashdot and digg to see whats going on. Lately twitter has been providing me lots of information. Twitter has a cool feature called "track" if i issue the command say "track drupal" i would get notified whenever anyone sends a tweet with the word drupal in it. So its an instant way of getting notifications on latest blog posts from people on "drupal" even if their opinion is not popular enough to hit these mainstream websites.

If looking for news on a particular topic, i like to go thru news.google.com

For breaking news, I usually found on Digg and Reddit before other news website. I always open it because not only it's very updated, it's not limited to tech news too (although right now it's more like politic news website). Its news's comments is so hilarious. Many times I don't even bother reading an original article and go straight to read comments.

More than that, I read

  • Ars Technica. Its content is great. It's not very up-to-date but it's also mean they aren't hurry publishing.
  • Slashdot. Not very up-to-date too but the variety of their news is great.

When it come to gadget, Engadget and Gizmodo both is an undeniable choice. Its quality and humor is quite comparable but Gizmodo is a little more NSFW ;-)
