ABC Tech, part of the Telenor Group, is a newly established subsidiary of the Norwegian media company A-pressen AS and web portal ABC Startsiden AS. ABC Tech aims at delivering leading products and services to A-pressen, ABC Startsiden and other members of the Telenor family, in tight collaboration with the respective development departments in Norway.

As a System Developer you will work with middleware and backend solutions on various applications and products. The majority of the products you will encounter are written in Java, but some are written in PHP as well. You will be collaborating with developers in Norway to deliver development goals on shared sprints.

In the A-pressen team, you will work with up-to-date software, and with modern methodology. You can expect to learn much about software development working for us. We have a focus on OpenSource products, which we use to a large extent. If possible and convenient, we try to release OpenSource products ourself. The team in Bangkok has, for instance, has released the CruiseControl plugin Krazip: http://krazip.abctech-thailand.com/
