Senior Quality Assurance

The Senior Quality Assurance is responsible for testing the Viz|Multi Platform Suite (MPS) to verify that the system operates according to requirements, design specifications, and functional specifications. S/he develops and maintains test plans, bug tracking systems, and entry/exit criteria for each phase of development for the software. Additionally, the Sr. QA designs and, with the assistance and oversight of the Technical Lead, develops the build and testing environments for project QA.

The Viz|Multi Platform Suite will enable contents from Vizrt Systems to be delivered to several platforms including Mobile Phones, PC (internet), Set-top boxes and game consoles. We already had a successful prototype that won 'What Caught My Eye' award from the IBC tradeshow held in 2006, Amsterdam.

Responsibilities:

- Gather and synthesize requirements for development QA environments.

- Working with the Technical Lead, create QA environments as needed.

- Maintain QA environments as needed through the duration of the project.

- Working with the Technical Lead, assist in creation of staging and production environments as needed.

- Serve as key strategic member of the MPS software development core team, providing input on quality assurance, as well as general strategic issues.

Hold responsibility for the identification of defects in every aspect of the product and, working with the software development management team, manage the resolution of such defects.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor Degree or higher in any related fields.

- 2+ years experience in software testing.

- Experience in programming would be an advantage.

- Logical thinking, positive attitude and detail-oriented person.

- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
