Openface is seeking highly motivated and intelligent individuals with a high aptitude for computers, IT, and software development. 

Key Responsibilities :-

To carry our testing activities related to projects ensuring all deliverables are released to specification and the highest quality.

The QA Analyst will be responsible for carrying out testing on various Openface products. This will entail being responsible for the following activities.

• Creation of test plans:
  • Identify / define how testing a project will be carried out.
  • Define what exactly will be tested and how
  • Preparation and documenting any set up work needed for specific tests, i.e. Data preparation for specific scenario tests. 
• Carrying out testing:
  • Execute tests as documented in the test plan
  • Log bugs and work with developers in resolving them
  • Retesting and closing bugs when they have been resolved
  • Keeping clear records of all bugs identified, producing progress reports on a regular bases. 

To be responsible for carrying out regression tests.

The QA Analyst will be responsible for carrying out regression testing activities.

This will involve the following:

• Ensure all regression scripts are kept up to date in accordance with specified functionality:
  • Update all repression documents when new functionality is released 
• Execute regression test scripts as part of the overall build process:
  • Identify/log all bugs
  • Work with developers on bug resolution
  • Produce progress reports on a regular basic. 

To manage the build process of the test and live environment.

The QA Analyst will sometimes be responsible for managing the build process of the test environment and in part, the live environment 

To become a user expert on how our products work, gaining an understanding of the strengths and weakness.

The QA Analyst should be an export on how our products are intended to be used. They should aim to get a good understanding of:

• The strengths and weakness of each product.
• How our products will be used by our customers in order to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention through providing an excellent user experience.

To help develop the quality control by improving processes.

The QA analyst will be expected to champion ways to improve our current process on an ongoing basis. This will involve the following:

• Reviewing QA Procedures
• Taking ownership of QA Improvements

Skills :-

• Comfortable with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint, Windows domain
• Knowledge of OS: unix; Windows-2000, XP, 2003; Mac
• Knowledge of IIS/Apache
• Previous knowledge of software testing, especially e-commerce sites
• Be comfortable in writing detailed bug report
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Organized

• Creative
