Parallel and Distributed Computing Centre (PDCC) is to form a centre of excellence in the areas of parallel and distributed computing; to carry out research where goals of the projects are connected to real concerns; and to enhance the research profile of the University by putting the name of the Lab on the international research map. In pursuit of its mission, the PDCC strives to seek new industrial projects where parallel and distributed processing can provide a solution to real problems, to conduct leading edge research and advance knowledge, and to foster research collaborations both nationally and internationally.

Now we have one urgent vacancy for software developer assigning to a cloud computing project, about mobile computing and cloud services. The vacancy is for 3-year contract.

Qualifications:

• National of member countries of ASEAN

Suitable candidates should possess the following skills:

• Bachelor/Master in Computer Engineering/Science or related fields

• Good knowledge in network programming

• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Java

• Strong background and experience in virtualization technology and open-source Xen hypervisor

• Good command in English (writing, speaking, reading)

Additional skills which is a good to have, but not a strict requirement are:

• Familiar with Android SDK

• Knowledge in cloud computing
